These terms cover buying and using Curfew, a macOS app published by Sentium Inc., 1111B S Governors Ave #39446, Dover, Delaware 19904, USA. By installing or buying Curfew you agree to them.
What Curfew does
Curfew blocks the screen of your Mac during hours you choose. To end a block early, you hold a set of keys shown on screen for a short period. There is also a free version: at your curfew time it shows the real block screen for about ten seconds and then lets you through. Its schedule can't be changed.
What you are buying
A licence to use Curfew — not ownership of the software. One payment, no subscription. A licence may be activated on two Macs that you use. Don't share, resell, or redistribute your licence key. Replacing a Mac? Email us and we'll free up an activation.
Updates are included for as long as we publish them. We do not promise updates for any particular length of time, and future major versions may be sold separately.
Refunds
30 days, no questions asked. Email contact@sentium.one within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund the full amount to your original payment method. Refunding ends the licence — but Curfew keeps blocking on the schedule you set until you uninstall it, and without a licence the settings become read-only. Uninstalling always works.
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days. Our 30-day refund is longer and covers you either way — just email us.
Important limits
Curfew is designed to make your Mac unusable during the hours you set. Don't install it on a computer where losing access could cause harm or loss — a machine relied on for medical, emergency, security, caregiving, or other critical purposes. You choose the hours, and that choice is yours: keep a phone or another device for anything urgent, including calling for help.
There is always a way out. A block ends by itself at the end time you set, you can end one early by holding the keys shown on screen, and you can uninstall Curfew at any time — uninstalling works whether or not you have a licence.
Curfew is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will block at every scheduled time or release exactly on time, that it cannot be circumvented, or that it will run without fault on every Mac or every version of macOS.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Curfew is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for it and US$50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost work, missed deadlines, or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending the licence
Curfew keeps working without a valid licence: it goes on blocking, and settings become read-only. Uninstalling is the only thing that stops it, and it always works — there's an Uninstall button in Settings, or drag the app to the Trash. We may disable a licence that was refunded, charged back, or is being redistributed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows when. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase you already made.
